Creative ideas for small garden landscaping

November 25, 2019

Is your yard, no matter what, your oasis of peace? There are many original ideas for landscaping and we will give you just some ideas for the garden that everyone will admire.

A water oasis

For start, let's make it clear: to have a water oasis in your garden, it doesn't matter how much space you have, because each pond like this can be made to the size you choose. During warm days you will enjoy the smallest water surface sufficient to keep you cool.

Also, such water surfaces can include fish that will give your yard a real refreshment!

It is advisable to do the work with the lake with the help of someone specialized in such projects, but many do-it-yourself projects do not require much time and money and can completely transform the space.

And, when we are in the water in the yard if you have space think about the water wall. It will by no means go unnoticed.

Pergola

Can't the trees fit in your garden or it still isn’t tall enough? That doesn't mean you don't deserve to enjoy the shade. Pergola is the perfect solution that will give you shade and certainly give more character to your garden than a plain canvas umbrella. A pergola, in some ways, can practically be an extension of your living room, and if you pay attention to it, you can pair garden furniture with the one in the room.

Decorative paths

The path, if you let your imagination run wild, can be a real ornament in the garden. Use colourful pebbles and make a mosaic. It may not even be pebbles, any material of different colours that the internship is made of can be a decorative element in your yard. And a very small path from the gate to the house will be enough to amaze your friends but also anyone who walks past your yard.

Also, consider the cobblestone path. A faithfully shaped cobblestone is not so easy to obtain, but if you do your best, believe it will be well worth the effort.

Gravel

Want a cheap and fast garden solution? Say no more. If you plan to make the most of your small garden, replace the lawn with gravel. It is an excellent solution because it is maintenance-free and you can install it yourself; it is certainly easier to install than stone or brick. Just pay attention to the undergrowth that will prevent weeds from growing.

Vertical garden

Have you seen such 'green walls' so far? Vertical gardens are trendy and easily fit into any garden, but they are ideal if you do not have a lot of space available and want to grow all those beautiful garden flowers.
You can create these creative vertical gardens yourself using various items, e.g. crates, pallets, old bottles...
