Loft conversion room ideas

December 26, 2019

Loft conversion rooms are much more than dusty storage units and uncomfortable crawl spaces directly below the pitched roof or scary and exciting place for your kids; these are usually the most attractive, versatile and very useful interiors in the home, they have a special charm and warm feeling that follow you even after you leave them. There is something in the low, sloping ceilings that gives the tone to intimate, private escape.

However, the design of such a space comes with many challenges. Nothing is stopping you from turning it into the room of your dreams, whether we are talking about an unusual living space with a hanging mechanism in the middle, a playroom, a dressing room or the exhibition interior of your works of art. But, before making any decision, we have a few ideas we would like to share that may be the starting point for your design of the space.

If your loft conversion may be too small for a room, it is certainly adequate for a large wardrobe. The slopes of the roof will add to its unusual appearance and your only job is to design shelves you can place here.

For those who like clean and spacious, here's an idea. Make your  loft conversion the corner where you go to get alone, rest or read your favourite book.

Here's another hedonist corner. Just imagine how many hours you could spend in this beautifully remodelled attic.

All in one - a secret place, shelves, storage ... whatever you can imagine.

Here is a modern library with built-in shelves that take up little space and open up the possibility of arranging many details and books around it, and all of that in your  loft conversion.

A very useful thing - the shelves installed just below the slope of the roof. You will save valuable space this way and take advantage of every nook.

We don't know if your kids or husbands will be more happy about this room! A playroom with lazy bags and playing equipment might not have a better place in the house, because this way you won't interfere with each other.

Even in a very small attic, you can make a place where your loved ones could be secluded and away from their daily routine, at least for a while.

And the loft conversion can look like this. Keep the wooden structure and make the bedroom. After all, an extra sleeping or guest room is never surplus.

Of course, an attic can somehow be reached. It is also advisable to pay attention to the design of the stairs. Here we have an example of stairs that fold when not in use, and there are many such designs.

... And you can also automate your stairs and manage them at a click.

This is an example of how an  loft conversion can provide, with good planning and design, space for everything provided and a classic bedroom.

For dreamers who like comfort, here are some attic bedroom ideas that require very little investment and you can edit it completely on your own.

And finally, a combination of white base and colourful details. By white, you can make your  loft conversion room look much larger, but you can break the monotony with colourful details and achieve the extraordinary effect.
